Project “Demonstration project for paper recycling at home”, with contract No. BG16M1OP002-2.009-0093-C01, financed under the Operational Program “ENVIRONMENT 2014-2020”. The project is aimed at the need to reduce household paper waste generation and reasonable use of natural resources (forests), by reusing them for creative purposes, including for organized group and individual art activities. Target group: The population of the country. Direct participants in the project activities – 500 households/1500 persons. Activities: 1 “Implementation of a demonstration project”, including – Study of the consumption of used paper at the national, regional, local level in Bulgaria; – Development of a methodology for the reuse of waste paper for creative purposes; – Creation and distribution of a recycling and art kit for working at home; – Determination and collection of methods; – Creating an e-book about the method; – Creating an educational video; 2 “Campaigns to popularize the results of the project”, including: – Workshops to exchange good practices with interested parties; – Organizing and conducting seminars on the methods aimed at the target groups; – Dissemination of the results of the project at the national level, through social networks and an online portal; – Planting trees in different regions of the country. 3 “Project organization and management” 4 “Information and Communication” Direct results (products) – an educational video and e-book on the creative recycling methodologies of used paper in the household; – planted trees in different regions of the country; – realization of seminars on the techniques for creative recycling of used paper; – created recycling and art kit for work at home and distributed to end users; Indirect results (total) – strengthening of cooperation between partner organizations; – development of the creativity skills of the target groups; – empowering the civic awareness of partners and target groups; – awareness of eco-sustainable behavior and responsible consumption, including separate collection of paper.; The project implementation period is 18 months, starting from February 16, 2022.
